Hi, I’m Navdeep!

I’m the person who watches TV to see the new commercials and enjoys going on the subway to see the different ads, so it only made sense that I work at an ad agency. Now, I’m a brand coordinator (assistant account executive, it’s all the same) at Mekanism.

How I Made it Here: Becoming a soccer fan was my way into the creative world. I made a Tumblr blog to connect with other fans, was fascinated by the talented artists in the fandom, and then tried my hand at graphic design. I was bad, got better, and now use my skills to think like a creative without being the creative.

Fun Facts:

• I own more than 30 soccer jerseys

• I’m a caesar salad enthusiast (shoutout to the Mexican Caesar at Chop’t)

• I played the saxophone for 9 years

• I’ve embarrassed myself in front of at least 6 soccer players (and I probably won’t stop anytime soon)

• I can always use a good chicken tender

• I think about this Twitter thread too much

• I want to travel to Europe in mid-May so I can vote in Eurovision
