2016 is coming to an end so it is perfect timing to look back at the best photos I took this year. A lot of great ones were taken and I narrowed down my selections from 76 to 16. All of them involved either the New York Red Bulls or New York Red Bulls II.
2016 was a great year in terms of photography and I can't wait to see what I capture in 2017.
Every time a final occurs in soccer, I prepare champions edits for both teams in the final. Of course, that means half of these edits don't get posted.
But since I worked hard on these edits and am proud of them, I have decided to start a small project called, "What Could've Been." This year, Atlético Madrid, Argentina, France, and Toronto FC are the runners-up of 2016.
Enjoy what could've been.

My latest project features New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan. The project took one month to complete on Photoshop. Below are the tools and process I used to make the edit:

PROCESS
I used the eyedropper tool to correctly identify colors and shades of the picture. Using the correct color, I then "painted" Kljestan using a default brush. Different areas of the image required different brush sizes (a skinnier brush was used for his hair). To make the different colors and shades seem more natural, I used the blending tool to create a more natural look. I completed the edit in the following order: face, hair, neck, chest, shoulder, sleeves.
After "painting" the image, I designed the background using the HUION Graphics Drawing Tablet. With the tablet, I was able to write and create smaller illustrations that complete the edit.
The idea of going to jail is terrifying. The idea of visiting to jail is terrifying. Despite the frightening features of the Eastern State Penitentiary, the prison was an interesting experience filled with historic features.
